At HeyASD, we believe comfort is connection. Every product is created with care, intention, and lived experience, so you can shop knowing that what you wear was designed with autistic adults in mind. Our return process reflects those same values: simple, fair, and sensory-aware.

Sensory Comfort Promise

Every HeyASD piece is made by autistic creators who care deeply about comfort, quality, and lived experience. We want you to feel good in what you wear, not overwhelmed by it.

We gladly replace or refund any item that arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective.

For sensory comfort concerns, we offer store credit; because comfort isn’t a luxury here, it’s the point.

Each HeyASD piece is made to order. Please take a moment to review the size guide before purchasing. If a garment doesn’t feel comfortable for sensory reasons, simply reach out within 30 days — we’ll offer store credit so you can find the piece that truly feels right for you.

What Qualifies

  • Defective, damaged, or misprinted items are eligible for a replacement or refund.
  • Sensory comfort concerns are eligible for store credit.

Timeframe

Please report any issue within 30 days of delivery. Claims outside this window may not be eligible.

How to Start

  1. Contact us with your order number.
  2. Briefly describe the issue and attach clear photos (package label + item + print/area of concern).
  3. We’ll review promptly and confirm the next step (replacement, refund, or store credit).

What We May Ask For

  • Photos or a short video showing the defect/damage/misprint.
  • Photo of the shipping label if the parcel arrived damaged.

Non-Returnable Situations

  • Change of mind or incorrect size/color selection.
  • Personalized items and digital downloads (unless defective).
  • Normal variations within industry tolerances (e.g., small print-placement shifts).

Shipping Costs

  • If we’re at fault (defect/damage/misprint), replacement or refund is covered.
  • For sensory comfort store credit, return shipping (if requested) may be at the customer’s expense.

Address Issues & Undeliverable Orders

If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we can reship once the address is updated. Additional shipping charges may apply.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking shows delivered but you can’t locate the parcel, please check with your household, neighbors, and local carrier first. Then contact us — we’ll guide next steps case-by-case.

Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method; replacements are placed right away. Bank processing times can vary.
