Reviews are how other late-diagnosed autistic adults find this book. There is no publisher behind it and no advertising budget. Someone sitting where you were sitting a few months ago is searching right now, and what decides whether they trust it enough to open it is whether anyone like them has said anything about it.

You do not have to be clever about it. Two sentences is a review. Pick whichever of these you have an answer to and ignore the rest.

Something to start from

  • What did you recognise yourself in?
  • Who would you hand it to?
  • What do you wish someone had told you sooner?
  • What did you expect it to be, and what was it instead?

Bought it on Amazon?

Then leaving it there instead helps a different set of people find it, because Amazon only shows reviews from people who bought through Amazon. Open the book in the store you ordered from and use the review link on that page.

Would you rather just tell me?

That is completely fine, and it is often more useful. Email support@heyasd.com and it comes to me. Nothing you send there goes anywhere public, and you will not be added to a list for it. If something in the book got it wrong, or something was missing that you needed, that is the message I most want to receive.

And if the book was not what you needed, you do not owe anyone a review. You have already given it your time, which is the part that costs the most.
