Caring for Your HeyASD Products
Every HeyASD product is made to bring comfort and calm into your day. Our sensory blankets and calming pillow are designed to feel soft and last, and a little gentle care keeps them that way.
Sensory blankets
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent, and wash separately the first time. Skip the fabric softener, as it coats the velveteen and dulls the softness over time. Tumble dry on low or lay flat to dry, and use a cool iron on the reverse only if you need to.
Calming sensory pillow
For everyday marks, spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. If the cover is removable, wash it cold on a gentle cycle and let it air dry. Reshape it gently while damp and let it dry fully before use.

Wash cold with like colors. Tumble dry low or hang to dry for best feel.
Hoodies
Machine wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle with similar colours. Use a mild detergent if you’re sensitive to fragrances, then tumble dry on low heat or air dry flat. Avoid bleach, avoid dry cleaning, and if you need to iron it, turn it inside out and use a low heat setting.
Hats
Spot clean with warm water and mild soap. For tough spots, use a soft-bristled brush. No soaking required.
