No this is a sensory blanket made for autistic adults who find weighted blankets too heavy. Weighted blankets can feel soothing at first, but many in our community shared that they quickly become overwhelming and were overpriced. Our fleece sherpa blanket is light, breathable, and safe to keep around you all day, comfort that lasts without the weight.
